A Gang Gang Romance

A Gang-Gang Romance

“Build our nest with love
line it with forget-me-nots
stay all summer long”
– Martin (Hellopoetry)

I was lucky enough to catch these two love birds at the Australian National Botanic Gardens and with a little stealth managed to catch some a few amazing moments. For those who haven’t had the pleasure before these are ‘Gang-gangs’ and belong to the Cockatoo family. An interesting fact about the Gang-gang’s is that they mate for life and if one partner passes on the other will stay alone for the rest of its days in many cases. Beautiful isn’t it?
